Wink Family Eye Care is a preferred provider for many medical insurances. Most insurance carriers provide a routine eye exam within your “Preventive Care” benefits. Under the Affordable Care Act, all insurance companies must provide coverage for a routine eye exam to children under 18.
We are a preferred provider for Vision Service Plan (VSP), which is a vision plan, not medical coverage. VSP often covers a routine eye exam and discounts on glasses, lenses and contacts. If you have a need for follow-up care due to medical reasons, such as dry eye, red eye or glaucoma, these visits are billed to your medical insurance (see below).
